CTS05 - Large Cylinder Trolley

This large cylinder trolley was adapted from the STS CTS02 cylinder trolley for a customer who was lifting and handling 250kg 406mm diameter cylinders.

For an operator to load the cylinder into the trolley the operator has to push the top of the cylinder to create a 10mm gap under the bottom of the cylinder. The trolley is then manoeuvred so that the base plate of the trolley goes under the cylinder. Because of the large cylinders weight and diameter it will require 30 kg of force pushing at the top of the cylinder to create the gap at the bottom. The force may be reduced if the cylinder is slightly rounded at the bottom.
