Manual Roll Rotator
This roll rotator is designed to be a manual lift, manual push and manual rotate unit. We supplied this roll handling unit to take rolls off a pallet and rotate them into the horizontal. We can supply the unit with powered functions or manual functions, but a manually operated unit is cheaper.
The operator would wheel the roll rotator to the pallet where the rolls are stacked vertically and then manoeuvre the unit until the clamping pads are lined up with the sides of the roll. The clamp is then closed by turning a handle. The clamping pads will grip the roll really well because they are lined with a synthetic rubber. The operator pumps a handle at the back of the unit to raise the roll to the correct height. The roll is rotated into the horizontal by turning a gearbox handle. The operator can then load the roll onto the spindle.
