Gas Cylinder Lifter

DTP03-R500-CA10

Operators can easily lift cylinders of up to 150kg in weight using this hydraulic gas cylinder lifter. The unit features a manual-hydraulic lifting mechanism that allows gas bottles to be lifted up to heights of 470mm. The legs of this machine straddle around the cylinder, we can customise the leg design if required.

Key product features

Cylinder securing head

Gas bottle is strapped onto the cylinder lifter with a ratchet and strap.

Cylinder securing head

The unit is fitted with a rubber support pad to suit gas bottles with diameters between 190mm to 320mm. The operator secures the cylinder in place against the pad using a ratchet and strap mechanism before lifting and manoeuvring into place. The rubber pads provide additional grip between the cylinder and support pad ensuring the load is held securely throughout the handling operation. To detach the cylinder the ratchet mechanism is released, this is done by pulling the ratchet lever and rotating the handle forwards.

Manual hydraulic pump

Manual hydraulic pump

The 17cc aluminium pump supplies oil to a lifting ram in the centre of the unit. The system raises the gas bottle when the rear tiller handle is pumped back and forth. A hand-operated lowering lever/valve is mounted on the top of the lifter body. The lowering lever provides precise control when a gas bottle needs to be lowered down onto the floor. We assemble all our hydraulic circuits by hand in our UK factory to ensure that each system is clean and provides long-term reliability.

ATEX-certified model for Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 (optional)

Gas bottle lifter holds a bottle at height in a zoned hazardous area.

ATEX-certified model for Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 (optional)

Explosive or potentially explosive atmospheres require operators to use zoned ATEX equipment. We provide fully-certified gas bottle lifters for use in these hazardous areas if required.

The ATEX version is suitable for use in ATEX classified spaces: Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22. Electrical continuity - whereby a path to ground is always present – is of key importance when manufacturing ATEX-compliant cylinder handling equipment. All our ATEX cylinder lifters are supplied with an EU Declaration of Conformity.
