Key product features

Manual tilting system

The manual drum lift system on the IBC drum tilter

Manual tilting system

This manually-operated IBC Tilter provides an ergonomic solution for emptying the contents from an IBC. Using a quick lift manual-hydraulic pump, the operator simply pumps a handle to tip the IBC forwards. The unit has a maximum forward tilt angle of 28 degrees, this is more than required to ensure an IBC empties fully. Once decanted the IBC can be lowered back into the vertical position using the control lever.

Fork layout and construction

IBC tilter forks at full 28 degree incline for IBC

Fork layout and construction

The forks on this unit are both strong and robust and suitable for loads of up to 1000kg. Suitable for IBCs with an open base, the forks are fixed in place and have a width of 540mm to fit beneath regular 1000 litre IBC containers. Operators simply position the tipper beneath the IBC, secure a ratchet strap around the container and then pump the handle to begin tilting the container.

Securing the IBC

Operator uses stainless steel ratchet a strap to secure a IBC on the ITM01 IBC Tilter & Tipper

Securing the IBC

This unit makes use of a simple securing method which uses a stainless steel 50mm ratchet and 50mm polyester strap. The industrial-grade strap is secured using the ratchet mechanism to ensure the IBC does not slip forwards during decanting. To remove the IBC the operator releases the tension in the ratchet and removes the strap. The strap does not have to be overly tight as it is only there to retain the IBC from slipping forwards.
