Handling HDPE screw-top drums presents unique challenges. These drums are commonly used for storing food products and other materials, they can be tricky to handle due to their screw-top lids which prevent traditional grippers from attaching.

Understanding this challenge, STS has engineered a range of drum tippers with special features to tackle even the most difficult screw-top drums. Our unit can be fully equipped with additional rim clamp attachments designed to secure these hard-to-handle.

The unit shown below was custom designed for a customer who needed to handle a variety of screw-top drums. They needed to decant them into a tall vessel. To ensure safety and efficiency, we manufactured this Telescopic Stainless Steel Drum Tipper using 304-grade stainless steel.
